Who better than Wade Davis to guide us through the Torngat Mountains?

Over two dozen of our friends have signed up to join us in July of 2019 aboard the RCGS Resolute up the east coast of Labrador to the Arctic.

Wade is one of the world’s most renowned anthropologists, botanists, writers and speakers and will be just one of the educators onboard the newly-refurnished and re-named RCGS Resolute. Those four initials hint that this trip is sponsored by the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, of which Jean and I are Fellows. The trip is organized by One Ocean Expeditions, the Canadian-based provider of seagoing expeditions to the Arctic, Antarctic and beyond.

The expedition is 10 nights/11 days from July 20 to 30, 2019, beginning in Louisberg, Nova Scotia and ending in Iqaluit, Nunavut. The cost is from $5,295 plus $995 for charter air back to Ottawa.

The trip has filled very quickly. All the Twin Private Suites are taken and we have space in the following cabins:

1 x Female berth in Triple Share Cabin

4 x Full Triple Private Cabin

1 x Superior Cabin

14 x Superior Plus Cabin

1 x Shackleton Suite

2 x One Ocean Suite

Please look to the “Deck Plan” tab at this link for more information about the cabin types.

To confirm your space, please call One Ocean at 1-855-416-2326 or e-mail them at voyages@oneoceanexpeditions.com – and tell them Bob and Jean sent you.
